The Kickshaw

1987 to now

This band bookends the archive. I returned to Norwich after university to write songs with Jem, who introduced me to the Vital Disorders - the first band on this site. Meeting people via the VDs, including Kev (below), led to my joining many of the other bands, as explained on each page.

The Kickshaw developed from The Departures after Jem and I had returned to Norwich. Most of the recordings and the videos are from that first phase, but recently we've started working together again and look forward to continuing a recording project.

Warning - the videos include scenes of smoking in public places, which some viewers may find discombobulating.
