Mr. Vast is a hilarious Germany-based performance artist who recorded his Touch And Go album at Al Boorman's studio in Norwich. I was invited to add tantric panpipes to Inner State, but they didn't quite work. Instead, I suggested a Turkish marching band, with oom-pah horns and twiddly recorders to go under the triumphantly rude lyrics.
