Hondo

1983

Hondo were a Cambridge-based band that the Vital Disorders met when we shared a gig with them - if anyone knows any of them, please send my regards. Later, The VDs horns were asked to play on this session which turned out to be produced by the legendary Dennis Bovell and led to him producing subsequent VDs singles. The session was probably the most memorable I've taken part in because we got to watch Dennis perform on the desk as though it was an instrument, resulting in the dub sounds of these mixes.
